after visiting bahamas i said i would have to go back to the caribbean. so i did.
i fell in love with the dominican republic. 60% of the population is poor but people are happy. they all have cell phones (what's up with that?) and good food to eat. nobody starves. and as long as music is blasting and they can dance they are simply happy. samana is beautiful peninsula.  jungle descending all the way down to pristine beaches. fresh coconuts. clear turquoise water. paradise.
