i crossed the border to chile only because it was easy to do from bolivia. i wasn't planning on spending much time in chile and i didn't. after having been to peru and bolivia for over two months, i found chile very expensive.
so my belgian friends and i spent one day biking around valle de la luna, one of the hottest places on earth. it is truly moon like landscape. very hot, quiet, colorful, dry and yet beautiful.
i will have to come back to chile and explore the whole country. i am sure it has lots to offer for everyone.
